This was a point from Luke I’d never thought about. If a yard off the ball was a D advantage NFL teams would do it. Instead NFL o-lineman try to back up off the ball. Interesting that it’s maybe more about new angles that tackles have to figure out when they come to the CFL.

Just one change for the Bombers tomorrow: special teamer Lane Novak is out (6-game injured) and rookie Ethan Ball with make his CFL debut. Guessing we’ll see an increased workload for DE Jay Person (4 snaps on D vs. Calgary).
Once again, I’m begging the CFL to have the referee to tell us what the call is that the replay centre is reviewing: “The ruling on the field is an incomplete pass. It’s under review by the replay centre.” I had no idea what call they were confirming.
