Work the problem
As we wait on some project announcements regarding WY DUNAs - want to take the time to highlight the team at the WY SoS' office. New filings for new situations can be fraught with uncertainty. Their ability to provide thoughtful instruction and willingness to help is…
Last week was a historic one for crypto and for the United States with the passage of stablecoin legislation, one of just a few pieces of major financial legislation signed into law in the past 25 years. It marks a meaningful step toward making the United States the home for…

Very excited to transition from the past few years of advisory work at Cowrie LLC to Cowrie a WY based C Corp. Cowrie LLC is dead, long live Cowrie! It’s been an eventful time in my career and am truly excited to move forward with an expanded team. Not only are they great…
Yesterday was big. Market structure legislation got passed out of both the House Ag and Financial Services committees with bipartisan support. This bill does 3 things: 1- protects consumers 2- gives long-term incentives for both builders & investors 3- makes sure crypto stays…
Good lord. Amazing thread. But also... terrifying.
We're waiting for the House Financial Services Committee to chew through a couple smaller bills before getting to the CLARITY Act, aka, crypto market structure reform. We're expecting another long day. Last I checked, Democrats have filed just under 40 amendments.
This is what bipartisanship looks like. Excellent leadership.
🚨NEW: The CLARITY Act just passed out of the @HouseAgGOP with a vote of 47-6 following a nearly 3-hour markup. They’re just starting on the markup now in @FinancialCmte.
Truly an amazing turnabout at the SEC
Key points from Chairman Paul Atkins’ remarks today at “DeFi and the American Spirit,” SEC’s Crypto Task Force Roundtable on Decentralized Finance – a 🧵
Woke up this morning and thought I'd drop some alpha about something we're bringing live in the next few weeks 👀 This is one of the most powerful primitives we are working on for onchain sequencing. What would you do if your application can program custom transaction ordering…
For anyone needing a good laugh this Friday 🤣🤣🤣
We've been getting a lot of questions about @milesjennings's article at the firm this week. While Miles makes good points about bad corporate governance generally, his critique of foundations misses several key points. As someone who's structured 100+ foundations, let's address…
This post is not accurate. The fees would not go to UF. They would go to benefit the Uniswap ecosystem – to governance, back to LPs, to provide further incentives to drive @bunni_xyz hook adoption, etc. We've also established success metrics to expand our collaboration with…
Excited to finally see the corner turning on nonsensical solutions and a return to the natural order where entity structuring and income tax remain neccessary, important, but dare I say it, BORING. Only one way to eat an elephant - one bite at a time. Big bite here! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The end of crypto's foundation era is here. New policy (CLARITY Act), emerging structures (DUNA), and smarter tooling (BORGs) enable better systems — better incentives, accountability, and decentralization. My new post on why it’s time to move on from foundation structures👇
Thanks to @RepFrenchHill, @CongressmanGT, @RepBryanSteil & @RepDustyJohnson and their staff for advancing a regulatory framework for digital assets in the United States. The release of the market structure discussion draft marks an important milestone, and we commend their work…
Much appreciation to @SH_Brennan for all her work in this space. Taking in feedback, refining drafts, distilling ideas for clarity - this is arduous and often thankless work. Thank you Sarah!!!
Grateful for the feedback and engagement from across the ecosystem on v1. Today, we’re publishing Designing Policy for a Flourishing Blockchain Industry (v2) — a clearer roadmap to help policymakers turn decentralization principles into actionable, workable law and regulation.…
Huge work being done by @TheDRC_ !!! Great framing to push the ball forward on policy!
Policy decisions made in the next two years could shape the future of the blockchain industry for decades to come. A key decision policymakers will have to make is how to define decentralization. Like many others, we recommend focusing on control, and @SH_Brennan and I are…
Big drop! We published a package of 11 crypto policy op-eds this morning: Making the U.S. the crypto capital: What it would take. Our contributors offer views on everything from tax reform and staking to a bitcoin strategic reserve and debanking. The U.S. has an opportunity…
Making the U.S. the crypto capital: What it would take The U.S. seems to be turning its combative stance on blockchains and crypto toward a more supportive one that offers guidance and clarity on the rules for builders to follow. While it’s still early, a number of encouraging…
Love to see what @thedrc has become!!! Great work @c_spelliscy - have this one circled on my calendar for sure!
We’re excited to announce the 2025 Decentralized Tech Summit, which @TheDRC_ will be hosting in partnership with @pro_jectliberty! The summit will take place on April 2nd at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. With growing alignment between Congress and the…
Because Beavers live in lodges. Love this - looks great!
We are updating designs of towns.com to reflect towns protocol and it is SO gratifying to update the copyright foot note to: (C) TOWNS LODGE, A WYOMING DECENTRALIZED UNINCORPORATED NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION, 2025 I believe the first?
we’ve been normalizing centralization way too much those days time to get back to the basics
