Top 25 players by Box Plus-Minus (BPM) from the Vegas NBA Summer League (at least 50 minutes played). Interestingly, there is only one drafted rookie from this year's class (Liam McNeeley) in the top 25, while multiple undrafted rookies appear
Bringing this back for another year. We'll call this the summer league over performance to ignore. This fit much better before his dud champ game performance last night. Nique Clifford (Age 23.4): 18.2 PER, 19.5 pts/36, 45.8 3P%, 62.5 FT%
Chris Duarte SL (Age 24): 4G, 27.85 PER, 24.4 pts/36, 48.3 3P% Tristan Da Silva SL (Age 23.1): 3G, 28.91 PER, 23.8 pts/36, 58.8 3P%
Will Riley only played 2 SL games but had some nice moments. Surprised he fell to 21 with his size/scoring/passing combo at his age. Closer to Ingram as a prospect than Risacher, Cody W, Ziaire W who all went top 10. Awful blk/stl rates the main concern and had 0 in 44 SL mins.

Jase shut down after 2 games. Getting top 5 pick treatment.
#Magic rookies Jase Richardson and Noah Penda, as well as second-year pro Tristan da Silva, won’t play in today’s summer league game vs. Dallas — Orlando’s fifth and final contest in Las Vegas.
Pelicans PG Jeremiah Fears has 3 total assists through 3 games (and 16 turnovers)
Jase is clearly Mich State's best player. Have to start him and get him 30+ mins #FreeJase
The pre-draft reports from anonymous NBA staff stating that Jase “doesn’t know how to play” were always absurd. Size/role projection concerns, sure. But the absolute one thing Jase could always do amongst the best in the class is simply know how to play the damn game.
Jase Richardson is quietly putting together the most efficient Summer League campaign of any rookie from the 2025 Draft Class. 16.5ppg, 1.5rpg & 2.5apg on 72.2% TS (50% 3P + 73.9% at the rim) — 16.7% AST + 2.5 A/TO while taking on lead guard responsibilities. An outlier talent.
Best pound for pound rim finisher since ____?
Jase Richardson with tough finish through contact (with a replay)
6.4 stl%/3.6 blk% through 5 games is nasty. And only 8 total fouls.
On Thursday, Brooks Barnhizer had 7 steals. Today, he had 6 steals. He is the first player in NBA Summer League HISTORY to register consecutive 6+ steal performances.
Damn DQ can't even beat Cole Swider off the dribble
Obvious analysis here, Derik Queen got to swing the rock. Don't care much about this because summer league is chaos/unstructured by nature. Can't wait to see how he looks by all-star break when coaches make him simplify his bag and embrace his brawn to back dudes down more
Everyone is hyped up and throwing out Jokic comps for 10 and 5? #Yangsanity
Hansen Yang tonight: 10 Points 5 Rebounds 3 Assists 1 Block 50% FG
