This week, Duke Energy volunteers teamed up with the Avon Education Foundation to sort and organize school supplies in preparation for their annual Supply it Forward drive. Each year, the event supports 1,200 students as they prepare to head back to school.

Crews continue to make progress in the hardest hit area of our service territory—Columbus. Severe storms caused more than 18,000 outages in the area. Approximately 275 line workers, damage assessors and other support personnel are in the region working to fully restore power.
