I prayed today before work hoping that it would be a good day and felt supported in what I was going through but sometimes I hear someone say something that is a direct answer I’m looking for. I’m always surprised but shouldn’t be so I’ll be thankful for such. thank you God! 😁
Poured my heart out to God about my family and this earth. Hoping that nothing bad escalates tomorrow but I know things should be getting bad based on Revelation. I still desire if it’s possible that it doesn’t need to get bad before Christ returns. Yet Thy Will Be Done, Not mine
Decided to read the Book of Mormon cover to cover & found something interesting. In 1st Nephi 2 - Laman and Lemuel murmur due to not knowing the dealings of that God who gave them life so they didn’t know the scriptures. Just stuck out to me why it’s important to hold to the Rod.
I deeply love the Book of Mormon and believe in its words. I’m thankful to the Prophet Joseph Smith who gave so much & had so much loss in his life yet never gave up. A Shining example leading us to Christ. I don’t know what my life would be like without the Gospel. I never will.
I don’t think I have a firm understanding of the Urim and Thummim. Joseph could tell from a distance if the plates were okay using the spectacles and that impressed me. I have so much to learn. 😁
Probably one of the best things I looked into, Alma the younger having a change of heart, known has the largest chiasmus in literature spanning 170 words.
So I’ve been reading the Saints and I’m astonished how much beautiful light and knowledge is within it. Gives me a lot of insight into how hard it was. I also didn’t know Joseph got attacked three times before he got home with the plates and dislocated his thumb. Just WOW.
So after many events, I’m the only one in my family going to Church and I read my patriarchal blessing but I’m wanting to ask for an addendum but was wondering if that’s frowned upon? #LDSx I’m just desiring a bit more guidance. Is that wrong?
I need to learn church history a lot more. Wish I could find the journal of discourses on Gospel Library but maybe one day?

I have a theory that everyone consumed a piece of media between 9-13 years old that is the foundation of their entire worldview. Everything they learnt since was stacked on top of this. It's a great dinner question to ask people.
