Saddest part of #Braves collapse is the fact that so many underperforming All-Stars are on the roster. The 2015 Braves had Freeman, Markakis, and 23 no-names. Expectations were low, and no one was surprised. Not the case this year.

Michael Harris has a career night, but #Braves bargain bin bullpen does it again, losing 6-5. Sadly reminiscent of the 2015 Braves. 10th anniversary tribute I guess.

#Braves have the same number of wins (44) as the Athletics. A team playing in a minor league ballpark, ranking 27th in payroll (Braves are in the top 10).

#Braves run their A-team "hitters" lineup out there tonight, losing to the Rangers 8-3. Two of the Braves runs came in a mop-up 9th inning. Just two more months of this, folks.

Less than a week 'til trade deadline, and these are sad #Braves truths: We have only a handful of guys with any value, and they won't be dealt. We have 2-3 overpaid veterans, and they might fetch a fringe prospect or 2. Our farm system is subpar. We're in for a tough few years.

The President of the United States celebrates the firing of a talk show host who told jokes about him. He's hearing there may be more to come.

CBS cancels #StephenColbert. I guess this is just the beginning. Hopefully this major talent will find a home on a streaming service.
