Marvel Studios is skipping SDCC this year. They could’ve shown up to Hall H with Fiege, Lauren Shuler Donner, Jackman, Marsden, Romijn… you get the idea. John Ottman could have lead an orchestra playing Kaymen’s X1 theme and then Ottman’s own X2 theme. Just celebrate X-Men!

It’s a little weird Disney isn’t celebrating X-Men (2000) turning 25 today. I know they didn’t make it. But they own it now. X-Men launched the comic book movie boom, led to the MCU, and is ostensibly the whole reason Disney purchased Fox for $71.3 billion. Maybe at 30. 🤷‍♂️

So… What was the point of bringing Goldberg back tonight? (It was awesome to see Ernest Miller, Doug Dellinger and DDP again tonight.)

I liked Superman. The movie takes off at super speed and doesn’t let go until it’s over. Maybe it’s time to finally read a Mr. Terrific comic.
