❗️Jiří Kobza will run as candidate for Stačilo! in the Central Bohemian region. Kobza has previously blamed Charles University shooting on “progressive indoctrination.” One of the survivors and university lecturers was Lubomír Zaorálek (SOCDEM), who is also running for Stačilo!
🇨🇿 Member of Parliament Jiří Kobza has left SPD after having been placed at the bottom of the list in the upcoming elections. SPD leader Tomio Okamura says this was because of Kobza’s low parliamentary attendance and poor work ethic.
❌ Vice-Chairwoman of PRO Ivana Turková has resigned from her position and left the party after being prevented by SPD from running on their list. She is among 3 of PRO’s 7 regional representatives that left the party after being blocked from running by SPD.
🇨🇿 PRO will remain part of the SPD-led bloc of parties after a decision by the party leadership.
🚔 After investigation, Police has recommended charging Tomio Okamura and the SPD movement for inciting hatred. It will now depend on public prosecution whether Okamura will face the court.
🇨🇿 SPD leader Tomio Okamura had his immunity removed by government parties and the Pirates, meaning he now faces criminal charges for hate speech.
❌ Motoristé and Přísaha will not cooperate. Přísaha leader Róbert Šlachta said he disagrees with double standards in healthcare and the selective defunding of university programs. Motoristé leader Petr Macinka meanwhile rejects accusations that he caused the rift between them.
🤝 Chairman of Přísaha Róbert Šlachta and Chairman of Motoristé Petr Macinka will meet and discuss potential cooperation for the upcoming elections. Šlachta however says that he sees “no reason” to change his decision to run independently.
❗️Petra Prokšanová (KSČM), former lead candidate of Stačilo! in Prague, disagrees with her demotion to second place but will stay on the list in an effort to receive more preferential votes than Maláčová. Prokšanová also criticises SOCDEM for not being in favour of leaving NATO.
SOCDEM will field around 40 candidates on Stačilo! lists, among them Jana Maláčová as lead candidate in Prague, 2nd place Lubomír Zaorálek in Moravia-Silesia (where Stačilo! leader Konečná is 1st), Jiří Nedvěd 1st in Karlovy Vary and Zbyněk Šimbera 2nd in Ústí nad Labem region.
🐶 Přísaha has enlisted the Chariman of PES movement Jiří Janeček to prepare its programme for small businesses. PES was founded to oppose Covid lockdowns and received 0,40% in the 2021 parliamentary election. Its activity has been suspended for failure to disclose its finances.

🤝 Chairman of Přísaha Róbert Šlachta and Chairman of Motoristé Petr Macinka will meet and discuss potential cooperation for the upcoming elections. Šlachta however says that he sees “no reason” to change his decision to run independently.
🤝 According to some sources, Leader of ANO Andrej Babiš is trying to convince Motoristé and Přísaha to run together in the 2025 elections in order to prevent vote splitting. The two parties ran together in the 2024 EP election but their leaders had a falling out since.
☭ President Pavel signed a law that criminalizes support and promotion of “communist, nazi and other” movements that “oppose individual rights and freedoms” with maximum penalty of 5 years in prison. Whether this applies to KSČM will depend on court interpretation of the law.

❗️Stačilo! has approved partnership with SOCDEM and the two parties have signed a memorandum of cooperation. In response, previous chairman of SOCDEM Michal Šmarda said he will not renew his party membership.
🔴 According to multiple sources, negotiations between Stačilo! and SOCDEM have reignited, with SOCDEM being offered leading positions on the lists in Prague, Moravia-Silesia and Karlovy Vary regions.
🚗 Soukromníci (The Smallholders’ party) has endorsed the Motorist party in the upcoming elections. Soukromníci ran with Trikolora and Svobodní in the last election as part of a common list which received 2,76% of the vote.

🇨🇿 Leader of PRO Jindřich Rajchl is reconsidering his party’s cooperation with SPD, reportedly due to dissatisfaction with his candidates’ positions on the list. Stačilo! could offer an alternative partner, with its chairman saying PRO would first have to break up with SPD.
