The PNCC team is pleased to invite you to the 'Transformative High-Resolution Cryo-Electron Microscopy Pre-meeting Congress (PMCx61)' which will take place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in Salt Lake City, UT, in conjunction with the Microscopy & Microanalysis 2025 Meeting. #cryoEM

Please join the National Cryo-EM Centers for our April 24th, 2025 CryoEM Current Practices Webinar. Dr. Dan Richman will discuss "Untangling a tricky topoisomerase." Register for free at: cryoemcenters.org/events/

Please join us at #MM2025 for our jointly hosted Pre-Meeting Congress (PMCX61) on Transformative High-Resolution CryoEM! Let's shape the future of microscopy & structural biology research. We look forward to seeing you there. #CryoEM

Late week one of our long time users Adam Oken, from the @MansoorLabOHSU gave a great talk on their research. Check out his an other's Cryo-EM Current Practices Webinar talks on our webinar archive. cryoemcenters.org/webinararchive/
We are excited to welcome six new trainees this week to our hands on Sample Preparation Workshop, March 2025 edition. Shout out to our SPOCs, Nancy Meyer, Marzia Miletto and Omar Davulcu for running the show.

Please join us for our free monthly CryoEM Current Practices Webinar Series. Adam Oken will discuss "Small-Molecule Modulation of the P2X7 Receptor Revealed by Cryo-EM." Register at cryoemcenters.org/events/

PNCC has our first SerialEM Screening Workshop in the 2025 books. SPOCs Nancy Meyer and Rose Marie Yasuda trained 8 students in the workflow. Trainees complete two one-on-one follow up sessions to gain independence. We look forward to continuing work with these eager bunch.

PNCC was happy to help Girodat lab of @UniversityOfArk prepare samples for data collection! These samples were frozen on PNCC's Vitrojet with preliminary processing indicating a resolution better than 2.9A! Always exciting to contribute to impactful research!

Please join us for our free monthly CryoEM Current Practices Webinar Series. Dr. Vecchio will discuss "Cryo-EM and fiducial marks as fail-safes for structural studies of very small membrane proteins." Register at: us02web.zoom.us/webinar/regist… @Vecchiology

Congratulations to the @MansoorLabOHSU on their outstanding publication. We are delighted to have contributed to this research and we look forward to future collaborations.
Happy to share our latest work in Nature Communications: rdcu.be/dVGOT This was truly a team effort. Congrats to @lisi_nic, Adam Oken, Ismayn Ditter, Tommy Shi, and Nadia Nechiporuk. Many thanks to @CryoEM_PNCC (especially Omar Davulcu). @mansoor_steven
PNCC had a great group of trainees for our last iteration of the Sample Preparation Workshop, this 2024. This batch of graduates are excited to put their skills to the test. We look forward to continuing our work with each one of them.

Congratulations to our six newest EM-school graduates! After completing a rigorous 2-week EM-school training program, they're now equipped with the skills to excel in sample preparation through data collection. We're proud to have played a role in their development.

If you weren't able to attend our last CryoEM Current Practices webinar, check out the video of Camden Driggers' talk: youtube.com/@CryoEMService….
Camden Driggers shared how national #cryoEM service centers have supported the Shyng lab's use of cryoEM & provided mechanistic insights into KATP channels. The talk will be posted soon at youtube.com/c/CryoEMServic… Learn about the network of cryoEM centers: cryoemcenters.org
