Congratulations to Austin Montgomery, our 2024-25 Vanderbilt Spine Deformity Research Fellow, on completing his research year! He is an exceptionally talented, diligent, and personable individual. Ortho Residencies be on the lookout for his application this fall!

Final post from #POSNA2025. It was a highlight to share our research from the @childrensspine Pediatric Spine Study Group regarding when to utilize #HaloGravityTraction prior to Growing Rod Treatment for #EarlyOnsetScoliosis. I loved the feedback and can’t wait to share more!

Didn’t know how great this would be until after session 1. Fantastic idea and push from @ACatanzanoMD and Orthopediatrics to make this a reality. Can’t wait until next session!
So excited to start our Young Spine Surgeon Program! Starting out is HARD and stressful and we don't always want to talk about it. With support of Orthopediatrics and incredible mentors, this is a platform to develop careers and relationships to help get through these challenges!
Started better than it ended but still a great time #usmnt @USMNT #nashville

Great work from the @POSNA_org podcast team on the Annual meeting coverage. If you couldn’t make the meeting, listen for the highlights! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ped…

Very proud of this publication for both the collaboration with UNC Thurston Arthritis center for a unique application of their data AND the hard work and dedication of a lead author, friend and mentee Alysa Nash. Great to see this in print! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40183211/

This past week, we had the tremendous pleasure of hosting @drsukenshah for an evening of #scoliosis teaching. He also graciously observed my OR as a “surgical coach”. Great exp. and I highly recommend to anyone looking to identify blind spots and up their game

Let’s do it! Will be a great meeting!
