Does anyone genuinely think Rodgers is responsible for that price tag? If you’re looking to point fingers, blame the board’s chaotic approach. We loaned him late in the Jan, got desperate, and ended up with no leverage to secure a buy option. That’s why we “overpaid” last summer.

I just don’t see Rodgers sticking around past this season. Not a slight on Yamada or anyone coming in, But referring to him as a “club signing” tells its own story. It’s draining. Hopefully he leaves with another league title under his belt. 👍
