'Access Code' is almost complete! Still have around 10% budget left to play with, and all that's left is to polish it with extra detail e.g. pallets, crates, grime etc. 1 week till the deadline!
Slowly getting the first art pass finished on 'Access Code'. Currently working on terrain blending around the Scarab site. With 2 more weeks till the deadline, can really take my time and make this look majestic.
The scarab is is about 80% done! The biggest challenge was finding the correct 'curve' pieces for the main body. Will be adding much more plantation over it soon.
Update on 'Access Code' for SND. The map is in a much better spot design wise than it was last week. Threw in a scarab as one of the zones. Going to slowly add an overgrown/decayed artstyle for this map.
WIP of a new Halo Forge map named 'Access Code' and a submission for the new SND gamemode. Themed after Crow's Nest from Halo 3 and currently in it's early art stage. Been having fun making this one and should be done within a month.
Got a 2 hour window with no rain here in the UK 😂, so spray-painted most of the wing pieces! 48 parts in total and these shall be assembled onto the frame next week. Plan on adding some oil stains onto these at a later stage :3 #murderdrones
With wing blades all cut to size, the next step is to create a metal frame. The wing span will probably be close to 4 metres, which means they 100% need to fold! I'll probably use magnets to lock them in place when folded/unfolded. #murderdrones
The wings are slowly coming along. I'm probably going to make the frame out of metal bar as I'd like these to fold inwards on a hinge. Will try to scale it up a bit more and use what I have for the lower wing parts. So far, so good!
