“It is impossible to have a desire to forgive without having a will to suffer.” - Adolf Schlatter.
I praise God for the impact this little book continues to have. As I argue in it, biblical literacy can be a matter of life and death. Audio version now available from One Audio Books! one-audiobooks.oneaudiobooks.app/a-primer-on-bi…
Since the dust-ups about dispensationalism (ie, myths and misconceptions) never cease on X:
Excellent summary and analysis offered here by @CoryMMarsh2.
This exchange is representative of most exchanges I have with anti-dispensationalists. They bounce around careless accusations of “heresy” without a clue as to what dispensationalism is or what qualifies something as heresy.
Nah, Dale is actually correct. If you want to go, I'm definitely your Huckleberry. Where would you like to start defending your dispensational heresy? Don't throw me some book either. Let's start with Scripture and see what you understand. You seem quite sure of yourself.
Love mail days that contain something with my name other than bills. It was an honor to participate in this important project alongside some of the world’s most stellar NT scholars.

Just released! Vol 2 of the Studies in Judeo-Christian Thought Monograph Series (SCS Press). Dr. Ryan Meyer offers the most scholarly defense of Jesus’s “This Generation” being qualitative (not temporal) and linked to a new exodus theme. Preterists beware. scspress.socalsem.edu/this-generatio…
The NT teaches that the Abrhmc Cvnt remains in effect for Israel: “Men of ISRAEL …. It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth will be blessed’” (Acts 3:12, 25).
Rather than blindly accepting trendy retrievals of “classical theology” along with their disdain for and redefinitions of “biblicism,” i say it’s better to go directly to those who self-identify with the label and get an accurate depiction.
“Biblicism: The Battle for Authority” The sign-up link for our 2025 Entrusted Conference (@IHCCministry, Lincoln, NE) is now live! Plenary speakers: @CoryMMarsh2 @DrJackHughes @rbargas Dr. Mark Snoeberger (@DBTSeminary) @jesserandolph_ entrustedconference.org
Earliest explicit appearance of millennial views: —Postmillennialism: 12th century (Joachim di Firori) —Amillennialism: 3rd century (Origen of Alexandria) —Premillennialism: 1st century (Epistle of Barnabas, or earlier with Didache) For more, see: fathersonthefuture.com
PSA: despite the standard ubiquity of attributing “dispensationalism” to anything remotely favorable toward modern Israel, dispensationalism actually has NOTHING to do with America’s military strikes in Iran. Absolutely nothing. Don’t listen to uniformed, anti-dispensationalists.
Glad to see the series I oversee - the Studies in Judeo-Christian Thought Monograph Series - gaining some traction! paroikosmissionarykid.blogspot.com/2025/06/introd…
Why I continue to research, publish, and speak on academic (genuine) dispensationalism. Some of the brightest minds are the most irresponsible critics who are pros in rhetoric but infants in learning their opponents positions. One more added to the list.
Huckabee’s text has absolutely nothing to do with dispensationalism. Name a single, reputable dispy scholar who would affirm your claim (ie, straw man rhetoric). Please educate yourself on what dispensationalism actually teaches, the resources are out there.
Upcoming New Theological Reads for June 2025 youtu.be/RihGV4ACwu4?si… via @YouTube. A couple of good shout outs to SCS Press and our new monograph series!
My theological definition of “dispensation.” Notice salvation does not play a factor. Salvation is presupposed. A “dispensation” is a particular administrative rule in God’s governing economy of His people throughout canonical history.
The first vol of the Studies in Judeo-Christian Thought Monograph Series (SCS Press), which I oversee, is out now!
If you have interest in the NT's use of the OT, my monograph is now available: Paul's Fusion of Scripture: Analyzing Pauline Literary Techniques, Hermeneutics, and Theology in Composite Quotations (SJCTMS 1) a.co/d/62ezNUN #Amazon via @Amazon
socalsem.edu/scspress-press…. First two vols of the new SCTMS about to be released! There is a place for top-notch conservative biblical scholarship that doesn’t shy away from the Bible’s inspiration and inerrancy.
