It was right thing to do to ensure those on the lowest incomes in our community no longer have to pay Council Tax. This was a dreadful legacy of Tory/Lib Dem austerity. 7000 residents have now seen their bills reduced following changes to Council Tax support in #Preston.
Around 1,000 households in Preston are not paying any council tax this year – and a total of 7,000 have seen their bills reduced – after a change to the support system in place for those on low incomes. blogpreston.co.uk/2025/07/around…
