Consoles4You
@Consoles4You
We repair and mod consoles; develop acessories and repair parts for old systems. Also we are the largest retro game store in Switzerland (http://classicgamestore.ch)
Order shipping is currently paused due to us setting up our boot at @FantasyBasel Day 1 of setting up always looks super empty. Tomorrow this will be a nice small gamestore. If anyone attends, come and find us at booth 234 hall 1.1

This is probabbly my favorit gba sp and yes, given I am Swiss this is a biased oppinion. These were made by Waldmeier, the Swiss representative of Nintendo, without consulting with them first. They only sold a short time as they received a cease and desist letter pretty fast.

So I went to the Nintendo Museum today. I told myself: "Jan, whatever you want to buy, do *not* buy the controller pillows! You do *not* have space for them!" Well: "thank you" to myself. Now I have to buy a new suitcase 😵💫🤣

No retro game hunting yesterday, but instead I visited some retro games in real life.

Today we went to Hiroshima. Let me tell you, let's hope mankind does never repeat this again! On a lighter note, I found a bookoff and a really cool store with excellent prices called Lepton Jizodori. The bookoff had an unused cabin with some excellent condition systems 👀

Not as many purchases as I had hoped. But still found some stuff in the Surugaya in Nipponbashi and Kobe. Also in Kobe you should visit Ojamakan, which always has a large selection. Best find yet is the "scratched" Vita. Still searching these scratches 👀

While Akihabaras retro game stores tend to be rather expensive, there are still some good finds to be made. Me personally I love to go through junk boxes. This PC Engine cd rom2 probabbly just needs new caps and a new gear, but that is recommended with most of them anyway.

Seems like more Virtual Boy new old stock games have been found. Can be bought at the Surugaya in Akihabara. Also Untested / Junk Switches in box for roughly 80$ at the Beep store seems interesting.

When in Akihabara make sure to visit @kadenken Lots of cool diy kits and upgraded systems. Even the WSCHD , that is based on @zwenergy0 SwancolorHD can be found here.

I'm in Japan for the next few weeks Havn't had much time to look for games, but managed to grab a famicom sp and 2 nice n64 controllers in a bookoff a bit outside of Tokyo. Unfortunately prices at the touristy places are skyrocketing. Loved the pkmn gbl, but too pricy for me.

After covering the initial order rush on the Sega Neptune, we have now increased the purchase limit to 2 per person. If you have already ordered one and would like a second one please respond to your order email. Also a few boards will be on their way to @retroupgrades soon.

Prepopulated Neptune pcbs have arrived and are up for order.

Going to be at Maker Fair in Switzerland this Sunday. Showing some projects I've been involved in lately. Also selling some gbahd kits including a harvested gba cpu and ram from a dead gba. #GBAHD #KunaiGC #ControllerTester #SegaNeptune

I love every part of this image. Also our Consoles4You revision 1.4 can be fixed the same way.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the community, the Neptune "region flicker" issue has been diagnosed and fixed! To commemorate in true #Sega style, here's a service bulletin, complete with traditional inconsistent fonts and dodgy layout.
Finished the booth today, ready for tomorrow at @FantasyBasel

FYI for all that bought the populated neptun boards. Also I quickly checked an it seems that the Japanese mode is unafected.
Neptune builders/users should be aware of this very weird issue. TLDR: a few games that actively access the region/version settings of the console display artifacts in certain mode combinations. If anyone has more ideas regarding the cause we're all ears! github.com/Board-Folk/Nep…
Today I ordered all parts for a second batch of prepopulated neptun pcbs (100pcs), thanks to all the people that have already signed up for notification emails. If you havn't signed up yet, head over to our store.

Sometimes you get in a huge amount of unplayed 2DS/3DS. Today was such a day. Total 16 new in box systems.
