Crossing guards are critical for keeping students safe. Since @ClarkCountyNV expanded crossing guard coverage to middle schools in February 2024, we have seen a 69% decrease in students being victims of vehicular crashes. The numbers speak for themselves. bit.ly/44D5icr
NV Task Force 1, of which @ClarkCountyFD is the sponsoring agency, is helping with search and recovery efforts in Kerr County, #Texas. The team will be searching through more debris in various locations along the Guadalupe River this week. Thank you for your service 🚒

The call came in from @fema and Nevada Task Force 1 organized a huge response within 4 hours. The Texas deployment is set for 14 days but could be extended. NVTF-1 caravan includes trucks, 18-wheelers and support vehicles loaded with gear and equipment. Thank you - stay safe.
