Yesterday, to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE day, the children learnt and performed war time songs and dedicated poppies to people who'd lost their lives throughout the war. It was a fantastic day full of history and oracy - a great success! @voice21oracy @ExcelsiorMAT

This week, Year 4 had a brilliant afternoon with Colin from the @RNLI 🚤. The children chose the RNLI as our charity this year, and had a wonderful time learning and sharing their knowledge about water safety and the impact the charity have. It was fantastic! @ExcelsiorMAT

On Sunday, Miss Rudge & Miss Evans took some of our fantastic netballers to a Netball Super League match! They all had a fantastic time, watching the speed, athleticism & teamwork of professional sport. It was a brilliant, inspiring experience! @ExcelsiorMAT @MrLathamPE 🏐

Swap shops have been set up around school ready for @WorldBookDayUK thanks to the incredible people at @lonbookproject for the donation of so many wonderful books. Not only will your child go home with their WBD book they pre-ordered, but they'll also choose 2 extra books! 😍

Part 1: On Friday, we enjoyed our annual celebration of NSPCC Number Day. Staff and pupils wore number-themed fancy dress, completed problem-solving activities and KS2 pupils were invited to participate in a national Times Table Rock Star competition... @ExcelsiorMAT
