Remember this anyone who says that our environment and what's happening to our waterways is important. There was a way to both help farmers and our environment but two big parties didn't bother helping both.
Today, Sinn Féin, the DUP and the UUP voted against action to save Lough Neagh. They stood on its shore and saw ecological collapse. But still, some would rather side with denial than take action. This is about listening to science and saving our lough before it’s too late.

Arts funding allocation in Northern Ireland has just hit an 8-year low. Our artists and creative workers deserve better. An SDLP motion has now passed, calling for a fully funded, long-term plan to support the arts by October 2025. The SDLP will always stand with our artists.
