Great question. Not that obscure, but I’m always surprised more haven’t read it.
What’s the best obscure book(s) you’ve ever read that more people should know about?
“…the song humanity has been singing for thousands of years…” No better way to describe the literary and cultural canon. What a poverty to intentionally cut our children (and ourselves) off from it.
I just heard about the death of my old friend Jane Greer, a wonderful person and a poet whose work ignited in recent years. I still have a lot of catching up to do, but I am going to shut down on Twitter for the rest of the day as a sign of respect for her.
Well, this just made my Saturday.
Very sorry to hear of this. She was a talented poet and a warm and witty presence on this site. Check out her writing.
I am very sad to report that the wonderful Catholic poet Jane Greer @NorthDakotaJane has died. Please keep her soul, her family and her husband Jim in your prayers.
