For us, every week is #NationalDrowningPreventionWeek! 🛟 From coast to coast to coast, we’re out there keeping you safe with the help of our #SearchAndRescue crews, Inshore Rescue Boat students, and over 4000 incredible Auxiliary volunteers. 💪
Two generations of Assistant Mechanics! 👨🔧 Aboard CCGS Des Groseilliers in the Arctic, Frédéric and his son Pierre-Luc share something truly special as they work side by side on the same team. Together, they make work feel like home.

Having a personal floating device (PFD) on board isn’t enough if you’re not wearing it. In an emergency, you won’t have time to look for it and put it on. Don’t take the risk – wear a PFD and make every trip on the water a safe one. #SafetyFirst

60 years of maritime know-how and this is just the beginning! ⚓🎉 This year we’re celebrating @CCGCollege’s 60th anniversary, a world-class maritime training institution. The College is located on Cape Breton Island, #NovaScotia. Check out how it has evolved over time ➡️🎥
📣 In mid-June, our new Offshore Oceanographic Science Vessel, CCGS Naalak Nappaaluk, began its sea trials at @Seaspan. 🌊 Over the past few weeks, it has been put through full-scale exercises and will soon be delivered to #NovaScotia. 👏

History was made in 1977 when 4 fearless women—Rita Simek, Barbara Gibson, Linda Fudge, & Fern Walker—graduated as the first female @CCGCollege officer cadets! 🎓 These trailblazers didn’t just graduate; they made waves by becoming the first women to serve on our ships.🚢
