Wrapped up a great wkd of 🏀at the @I35Showcase_GBB tourney in Wichita. These young ladies are a special group. Took home a championship against great competition. Their energy, effort & passion is unmatched. Thank you to the abundance of colleges coaches who watched us.

After what game was it that @stephenasmith called out Haliburton? Acting like he was using a calf strain injury like an excuse. Those are serious, as we just saw. Players want to play. The media calling them out like they’re faking that stuff is ridiculous. Feel for Haliburton….
This is why I love the shot clock. A team is down 3 right now and all they gotta do is defend, get a stop and they have a chance to play basketball. vs. Formerly the team up 3 would usually clock this thing and move it until you foul them. @ShotClockSD #TimingIsEverything

Love this post! There’s 2many of those “make fun of coaches” videos-The ones w/ppl massively exaggerating triple threat, like coaches are teaching it like it’s 1950, so they can undermine coaches😂smh. This is how it’s taught. T-threat, Jabs, headfakes, footwork, YES it matters!

11 Yrs ago we said “I do”. In time since theres been amazing times, everyday times, scary times, and some tough times. All those times we’ve always said “I do”. What Ashley does for me, our boys, our family- is amazing! 11 yrs is crazy babe! I love you Ashley! Happy Anniversary!
There’s great coaches in HS and club. ?-Is, is learning the game-phys/mental dev. happening? We ALWAYS want to win, but exmpl-I’d rather go Man-D, learn and lose than“win!”playing 2-3 zone in summer. Esp w/young kids. Also Ppl don’t value gm speed prax reps/shots/skills vs. 40gms
Our youth system is beyond broken. We’ve devalued real coaches! Kids aren’t developed, they are overtrained, burned out, forced to specialize early & pressured to win at all costs. Structural change is needed! We don’t teach the game anymore! We promote the game & it’s killing us
