During her JSU playing days (2020-23), she earned All-SWAC honors and made two NCAA Tournament appearances, under Coach Reed. After graduating from Jackson State, Covington became a graduate assistant under UAPBβs Coach Erica Leak in 2024.
Jackson State women's basketball alum, Jariyah Covington, is reuniting with Coach Tomekia Reed, in an assistant role at Charlotte.
