I talked with quite a few successful coaches who had this philosophy. Place your "best/athletic/stud" lineman on defense line and put the kids that aren't on the offensive line. What are your thoughts about this? Why?

That one coach that's always late to practice, get hype during the starters vs the scout team session, feels like he's too big to coach special teams, and wants to be seen on friday. Then has the nerve to speak up about what he doesn't like in the meeting. Head Coach's face:

He got hit with the jet sweep and then came back and hit him with that counter!!!

I've studied numerous books to obtain my bachelors and master's degree. I've studied numerous football books to be the best coach I could be. Overall, the best book ever was my Bible, which shaped the best version of me. To God be the glory! -Coach Floyd-

I know some coaches use both, but why do some coaches only run tackle trap and some only guard trap?
