I think an even bigger problem we have in basketball is everyone isn't AAU ability yet instead of turning them away we allow them in And instead of developing kids we monetize off of them and their parents Which is why the product as a whole is degenerating
I think a problem we have in basketball now is an AAU coaches success is based on how many players they can get to go D1. It discourages D2 and D3 ball. And let’s remember it’s a privilege to play at any level. Players - go where you are wanted and what feels like home 🏠 🏀
