Just watched it in the theatres. Watching a Donnie Yen motion picture in a movie theatre is a dream come true! Banger direction, writing and of course, action choreography. The subway sequence is stunning. Yen is the “bright light” of Hong Kong cinema!
I don’t think moviegoers realise the greatness of Martin Campbell. No other filmmaker can boast of launching the same franchise twice, in different decades, different styles & cast as different as chalk & cheese while also delivering Jackie Chan’s best film in years. Undisputed.

I agree with this. Kraven is a solid action movie. It’s just bad luck that folks are picky about theatrical films today. Kraven has terrific stunts and a great central performance by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Tough luck, Sony. You guys tried.

Sad that #KravenTheHunter is not making money. It stood no chance given the bad marketing & previous films in the CU. ATJ is superb while the stunts are terrific. It is in line with #Venom & had the power to make big bucks, but the audience did not care. Pitiful!
A reminder to everyone who will appreciate #Tamasha today - fuck you for not watching it in the theatres. It is because of folks like you we get BB3 or Singham Again instead of more Rockstar or Bhavesh Joshi.
I believe Michael Bay deserves every single bit of respect as the likes of Scott/Scorsese/Cameron. What he has done for action movies, vehicular stunt work & slow-mo cool remains iconic. No one is able to better/replicate it today. Blockbuster filmmaking at its best.
