Epsom Chess Club are delighted to reveal a new club event, 'CHESS & CHILL', taking place regularly on Wednesdays from 11am at Bonjour Café, Epsom, in the town centre. All welcome! We are soon hoping to expand the event to include a monthly morning blitz tournament. Stay tuned.

Well done to all three of our Epsom teams who outperformed their seedings at the SCCU London Team Rapidplay yesterday. We had a great time and are now looking forward to hosting our own rapidplay event next Saturday.

Kingston beat Harrow away by 3.5-2.5 tonight to win the Thames Valley Knockout final in a dramatic match which went to the wire. Wins for Supratit Banerjee, David Maycock and Peter Large and a draw by Will Taylor saw the team home to secure Kingston's seventh trophy of the season
