Part of today was a planning day @CheshireFire HQ and afterwards a tour to see the new mobile incident command vehicle & refurb of Winsford Fire Station. #KeepingHaltonSafe #KeepingCheshireSafe

Another busy day ahead. Off to @CheshireFire HQ shortly to chair a meeting of the main scrutiny committee, after spending an hour amending docs for a council project to be fed back on when I return to council buildings in afternoon. #KeepingHaltonSafe
Good luck to our fire cadets, from Runcorn, Chester, Crewe, Nantwich, Widnes, Winsford and Northwich, as they head to National Fire Cadet Games in Cardiff. Hosted by South Wales FRS, this event brings together fire cadets for team challenges, personal development and celebration.
Our side to take on Preston today. You can watch the match live on All Red Video.
New addition to Vicky park. Didn’t hear about this but great idea.

Had a busy 2 hour catch up at the local care home on Saturday afternoon. The hot 🥵 weather really isn’t that hot when gardening. 30 degrees are u havin a laugh ? Granted a pub beer garden beckoned but the plants & wildlife 🦆🐦⬛🐿️🦔need water etc, in this weather ☀️💦

The Parklands sports club has plenty of outside space in the hot weather ahead. Why not check it out ? Use our community facilities or possibly lose them. ☀️🍺🍷🍹⚽️

It's another hot day across Cheshire! ☀️🥵 Heading outdoors? Please take care: ⚠️ Cigarettes - extinguish them properly ⚠️ Rubbish - put it in the bin or take it home ⚠️ Barbecues - don't use them in the countryside For more safety advice orlo.uk/A08md
New Inn tomorrow for anyone interested that end of town. Good deal 🍺🍗 £5 BBQ all u can eat.

Time for a few beers 🍺 at a local to help a local community facility and the local economy 👍
Good to see the improvements to another fire station today as part of the ongoing station modernisation programme @CheshireFire #InvestInPublicServices

The Hedgehogs have been tucking into the food & water I’ve been putting out each night the last 2 months. Important in this hot weather to ensure they have water in the warmer evenings. I stumbled on these 2 when I heard noise in early hours. It was literally licking the bowl.

Back from a meeting in Liverpool discussing housing and regeneration matters and back on council business before Executive Board in less than 2 hours time.
In council offices and off to Liverpool shortly to start another day dominated by meetings while it’s hot outside ☀️ but wouldn’t swop it for the world.
Home after full council tonight and other meetings today. 11 hours plus but at least not too hot today. Now getting tea and off to Liverpool in morning to represent HBC’s housing interests at city region.
