So many concerns. Pubmed @NIH is down. The search engine for biomedical research is no longer available. This is the canary in the coal mine.
OK PubMed is down It's run by the NIH and the main way to search for academic papers. If this isn't a temporary thing , and is a Trump/Musk doing, academics around the world are royally screwed right now.
Effective today, new regulations on how @NIH grants can be spent will gut lifesaving research funding by hundreds of millions of dollars annually. UC has submitted a declaration in support of the California Attorney General’s suit to block these cuts. bit.ly/4hs4pY0
