Apple just released macOS Tahoe Public Beta! The build version is 25A5316i the same as Dev Beta 4.

Fun fact: Apple had another installer icon ready before they went with this. It was much darker & the arrow was basically just a hole in the icon. Looks like there’s a some waffling — a lack of confidence, which is also apparent if u look at the blur effects in iOS 26 beta 3.

No. Stephen Hacket (512pixels) noticed that in Tahoe Beta 1, that Apple flipped the finder icon. The finder icon has been the same since Mac OS 7.5.3 (1996) This could be a simple mistake, I submitted feedback.
