🐝 OHIO VALLEY SWARM CATCHING CLASS — A class held today hosted by the Tri-State Beekeeping Association at the Northern Panhandle Conservation District in McMechen was free to kids. They were able to learn able beehives and how to take care of them on their own. @WTOV9

WEST VIRGINIA IN NEED OF MORE VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS— It’s reported there’s nearly 700,000 volunteer firefighters in America, however, in West Virginia, there’s a shortage at stake, and with a higher call volume, it can make things difficult. More tonight at 11pm on WTOV-9.

FAMILY SAYS THANKS TO FIRST RESPONDERS THAT SAVED THEM—- During the June 14th Flood, the Dalton Family needed to walk to higher ground on Peter’s Run to stay safe from the high waters that rose. There three first responders came and rescue them, now the family is saying thanks.




TRINITY HEALTH SYSTEM TO OPEN NEW LOCATION IN ST. CLAIRSVILLE— The Neighborhood Hospital held an event today to introduce themselves to the public before they open their doors on July 21st. The micro hospital also hopes to hire local, with sixty people that will be on staff 24/7.

MASS GATHERING REGULATIONS— The Belmont County Health Department is issuing regulations to mass gatherings for over 200 people for events that go on for over six hours. Some events are exempt from this like the Belmont County Fair that have appropriate conditions. @WTOV9


LAWSUIT PAYS OFF FOR BRIDGEPORT—- A recent settlement will now help the village after they entered into a nationwide litigation. They recently received over $131,000, just a portion of the overall settlement, and is expected to grow with more given to them. @WTOV9

RIDE TO REMEMBER—- Today several motorcycle clubs came together to remember Staff Sergeant and St. Clairsville Native Christopher D. ‘CJ’ Harding. He tragically passed away at 29 years of age on his motorcycle.
