I had the humbling experience of sharing with @Pontifex the work that we do @CitizensUK Catholic Social Teaching is a call to action. Through community organising, we live out our faith, standing for justice, building power, and loving our neighbour. This is faith in action.
This time, 2 weeks ago, I was on my way to Rome, with a delegation of @CitizensUK leaders from @tynewearcitizen @telcocitizens @CitizensBH @SLondonCitizens to meet @Pontifex. A truly wonderful moment of celebration, recognising decades of Community Organising across the UK.

It was an absolute joy to meet @Pontifex this week in Rome. Papal endorsement for our work at @CitizensUK - huge thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey. The next steps are already being planned - Catholic schools with community organising at their heart.
