Yes, agreed @mensaduncan, I believe it’s also important to go back and show appreciation same way you spent money traveling the nook & crannies of Ghana to ask for their votes. At least organizing one program in each region for a “thank you” tour shouldn’t break the coffers.
But it’s also true that when you are in Rome you do what the Romans do - “thank you tours” are essential political feature since post independence Ghana. You cannot make excuses with development about that, it might cost you the next election. That’s just the nature of the game!
