That's good news for young people, right?
Home buyers and builders in Canada are in retreat, adding to the woes of an economy struggling under the weight of President Trump’s tariffs. “It’s like the air is slowly coming out of the balloon without it popping.” wsj.com/economy/housin…
Hey @Grok, do foreign and Canadian tankers travel along Canada's Nortwest Coast purportedly covered by a "tanker ban"?
Opinion: To preserve B.C.’s beautiful North Coast, we must maintain the oil tanker ban theglobeandmail.com/opinion/articl…
"Me, with “never say never 51st State" Trump lurking, I’m hoping as a Canadian and a BC’er that Carney takes Smith’s demands seriously before Albertans vote in a referendum" @nspector4

Public spaces are subject to the Charter. So this is backward. I'm surprised at the extent to which this whole Sean Feucht thing has broken people's brains. Genuinely. The guy was a nobody in Canada before all of this. It should have stayed that way
No one is stopping Sean Feucht from hosting his shows in Canada, despite his criminal record. He has no Charter right to have his shows hosted at public facilities, which must be safe and discrimination free spaces that uphold community standards. Don’t believe the martyrdom.
A majority of Canadians favour reducing barriers to natural-resource development and say the government’s changes will streamline the process rather than reduce the country’s ability to protect the environment; a reversal in opinion from a decade ago. theglobeandmail.com/business/artic…
“If you’d asked me the question 3 years ago, ‘How much interest is there in Canada?’, there was very little interest, almost no interest. That has changed dramatically.” U.S. companies, investors 'kicking tires' and quietly shopping in Canada's oilpatch financialpost.com/commodities/en…
60 days of house arrest for threatening to bomb all synagogues in Toronto and “kill as many Jews as possible”. They want 7 years for Tamara Lich.
1. Man convicted of threatening to bomb all Toronto synagogues & 'kill as many Jews as possible' sentenced to 60 days house arrest, according to @CanadianFSWC globalnews.ca/news/11094503/…
Free speech advocates, like this group and @JCCFCanada, stand up for those the majority abhors. Today, it is for @seanfeucht; not long ago, it was for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Why? To defend free expression and push back against the tyranny of the majority.
The FSUC has sent a letter to Parks Canada & three municipalities, expressing concern about the spate of cancellations of @seanfeucht. We don't endorse anyone's views, but we believe strongly that public venues don't have the right to decide what views the public gets to hear.
The PBO noted that, “Canada's own emissions are not large enough to materially impact climate change” and the “potential economic benefits of reducing Canada's emissions” would “largely accrue to residents in other countries.” Oct 11, 2024

Environics has also been tracking support for the oil sands, which this year has jumped to 62 per cent – a level not seen since 2012.
Unbelievably sad that this is the state of the church in Canada. 🙏🏽🇨🇦🙏🏽 A police presence DURING COMMUNION!!!🤯
Toronto police stand in the back of the church, while Sean Feucht does communion with the crowd. This comes after the Christian pastor faced violence in Montreal just days ago.
And Senators! PEI, with a population of 170,000, has four, and BC as a whole has six. Vancouver Island has a population of about 870,000, so it may get roughly 18-20. More appointments to a lifetime of leisure - if the Island isn't leisurely enough.
Should Vancouver Island become the 11th province, in order to get massive federal subsidies for BC Ferries? #bcpoli
Canada’s national nightmare is over. The mirthful, singing Christian seditionist is no longer on our soil. Now, we rebuild.
Back in 🇺🇸. Never done this before, but I’m doing it now. 😘
If Drumheller isn't on your bucket list, it should be. The museum is FANTASTIC, the geography (badlands) is amazing, you can canoe on the Red Deer River, and you might stumble across @montesolberg and @DSolberg, two of the nicest and most interesting people you will meet.
Happy to bring some great members of Team Kusie up to Battle River-Crowfoot to knock doors for @PierrePoilievre. Residents in Drumheller are eager to have Pierre back in Parliament holding this Liberal government to account.
Meh. That was my place any day Mom served pierogies for breakfast.
Scene at K-Days the other day.
An Ontario court decision, upheld on appeal, confirmed that the Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) did assist Antifa and acknowledged the movement has been violent. This ruling aligns with my observations over the past four years, such as CAHN’s campaign to “ice out fake…
"Deathly" ill? No. Subject to the vagaries of human error, your child will be seen promptly.
In every province of Canada, if you take your deathly ill child to the emergency room, there is a significant risk they won’t be seen for 8 hours. The status quo is reprehensible. It doesn’t have to be this way.
