‘Ажэгъафэ-Azhaghafe’ /from Documentary film "Wedding on/beside the in Terek" (Свадьба на Тереке), on traditional Circassian wedding ceremonies, shot in the Terek District of Kabardino-Balkaria and produced by the famous Circassian director and producer Vladimir Verokua in 1985.
Ажэгъафэ-Azhagafe, "disguised in a goat mask". His main activity was pantomime. He could imitate any movement, had the status of immunity, no one was guaranteed from their ridicule. He was favorite of the people and desired at all spectacles and weddings. youtu.be/KWOmIQKqcNQ
