. @Cimoooooooo told me that when he was in the hospital in Jan (we just found out he had cancer), he was trying to think of a bucket list and between marrying me and all of awesome people that have watched his content over the years, he couldn’t think of anything 😭
I was doing journal prompts so I asked @Rhymestyle one of them to see what his answer would be: “What does your version of a successful life look like?” And he gestures to me and everything around us like “duhh” 🙈🥺
My take on all of this is that Konami only cares about the OCG, as that’s their biggest cash cow, so as long as sales in the OCG are doing well, everything else (TCG) is secondary/irrelevant.
my position remains “konami is consistently failing paper play, which is ceding ground to the slick and successful master duel, which has supplanted the card game as the ‘way to play yugioh’”
