Had a brilliant science day yesterday, visiting the Division of Molecular Microbiology @dundeeuni as a PI to present our group's work (11 yrs after my PhD there). Thanks to all for the stimulating discussions & great ideas for collaborations. Thanks to @helged80 for the invite.

Why is it so hard for universities to understand that experimental wet labs work best with the following setup: --Student/postdoc/RA non-hot desk offices next to the labs --*Private* offices for PIs that are in the same building--ideally the same floor as their labs
