Sony commissioned Ready at Dawn to make Daxter on PSP after just one first meeting thegamebusiness.com/p/ready-at-daw…
Regarding The Outer Worlds 2 price change... it's easier to go down than go up. It's a complicated economic environment to navigate. With Borderlands 4 going lower, and perhaps pre-orders not being huge (I don't know if they are or not), it makes sense to react.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus is one of my very favourite Pokemon games. Like… Top Two. But Legends: Z-A has me concerned. I’m not seeing the exploration that made Arceus so exciting. That whole game’s premise was around discovery. I worry this one has veered away from that
It's the hot Not-E3 take you've all been waiting for! @bondbeyondpod is back as @thatwouldbealex and I share our initial reactions to 007 First Light by @IOInteractive (spoiler: we can't bloody wait!) bondbeyondpod.tumblr.com/post/786067999…
The 'Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokemon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 edition bundle' is quite the mouthful
I had a chat with the former Ready at Dawn studio boss about PSP, The Order: 1886, VR, Meta and his new studio

Donkey Kong Bananza’s success will be determined over the coming years. This is part of a significant relaunch for the IP, which started with the Mario movie, includes the theme park, and will likely lead to more expansions. Bananza delivers a GOTY-level experience. Strong start
In Thursday's edition of The Game Business Show and Newsletter, I'll be sharing some Donkey Kong-related charts for the UK. What had the biggest launch… Donkey Kong Bananza or Donkey Kong Country? Where did DK64 place? Sign-up for free! thegamebusiness.com
It’s true.
Wow, Donkey Kong Bananza really is incredible!!!
Donkey Kong Bonanza launches at No.1 in the UK chart (physical sales) . Its launch is 3x bigger than the launch of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze on Switch. But it is less than half of Super Mario Odyssey’s
Bananza is a perfect showcase of modern Nintendo game design. It has the freedom of BotW, the bonkers mechanics of TotK, the platforming chops of Odyssey, and the fresh creative spirit of Splatoon. DK takes these and makes every element his own. I love it more and more each day.
Now should I play Donkey Kong Bananza, do the last few Pro goals on Tony Hawks or... Yep... do the new DK missions on Super Mario Run.

The new Donkey Kong game is excellent. I admire how true it is to the modern DK’s Rare origins, too. Could easily imagine this was made in Twycross

“We don't really consider [closed games] failures at the company. It's very difficult to get new products out on mobile in a successful way. You're going to have a lot of misses and you have to have a strong stomach and a culture for learning" thegamebusiness.com/p/star-wars-hu…
"If it's your PlayStation game on a phone, you're not going to play for 45 minute to do a level. You need power. Are you on the bus? At school? At work? You're getting messages, work emails... you have to understand that this is a multifunctional device” thegamebusiness.com/p/star-wars-hu…
