This week I joined @ManCityCouncil staff and industry sponsors at the graduation event for this years amazing PlanBEE programme participants. The programme creates pathways into construction for young people from Manchester. It's a brilliant scheme and it was a great evening.

On the back of £39bn investment in affordable homes announced at the spending review, the @UKLabour government have confirmed that 60% of this funding will be for new social rent homes. A very welcome decision to help continue our delivery of new social housing in Manchester.🏡
