Thank you @SfNJournals to have published our Journal Club about an exciting new paper from the Ramirez Lab showing how important context is in an engram reactivation 🧠📰. #JNeurosci Big thanks also to the great @Connor_Doyle_ who did this work with me 🙌 jneurosci.org/content/44/29/…
🚨Very excited that my first first preprint is online! We asked what differentiates a mitral cell from a tufted cell in an ex vivo preparation. Surprisingly, instead of distinct cell types we found that there is a heterogeneous continuum amongst these cell types
📣Our “Icelandic” preprint is out! Led by our country-hopping, cold-adapted patcher extraordinaire @neuro_sana and done between Cambridge & the Petersen lab @Haskoli_Islands, here’s our offering on the mitral vs tufted cell debate in the olfactory bulb twtr.to/AJNcX 🧵
So glad to be one of the "et al." on the @neuro_sana paper! It was a great experience to work with her and I definitely recommend this paper to anyone who planned to patch the olfactory bulb one day 🧠👃🏻🔬
