Here's hoping Dustin does better than last time he ran for President. He was robbed in the Eurovision also, so he was.
For perspective, for Conor's fans both non Irish and the few Irish who like him..Dustin has more chance of being President than Conor does. rte.ie/entertainment/…
An excellent article covering Finland's "whole of nation" approach to defense. Norway has a similar philosophy. Good luck seeing this in some Western European or North American nations...

Going as far back as WW2, ricocheting a HE round on delay off the ground to achieve an airburst was in the manual. But I don't recall ever seeing it for shooting around corners. (FM 17-12, 1961 for the curious)

Our assigned table fish kept us company all through dinner... but we have no idea what sort of fish (s)he is? Appears to be territorial and spends a lot of time head-up/tail down.

Finally. Some place that does Carbonara without cream. You know, as in the way it's supposed to be.

I'm proud of myself. Was watching Andor on the airplane, didn't realize it was filmed here. But recognized the building when I saw it.

I'm digging it and approve, but I'm curious. Why is it every radio station and establishment in Spain seems to be predominantly playing 80s music?
He's not far wrong. I have one requirement for a field watch: It must tell me the time. GPS, Baro, fitness tracker etc, pointless. That to me means simple, clear analog face to see in low light with a small digital screen. 25 years later, I'm on my third $40 Casio. Does the job…
I have an honest question. Past telling the time and being 'rugged', what is the obsession over high-end watches and their role as a part of your 'kit'. Like. I have a G Shock. Is that not good or..?
I hate it when people say the European rail network is better than the North American one. It absolutely is not, it just focuses on different loads. Still, there is something pretty cool about being self loading cargo and seeing the scenery at just shy of 200mph instead of flying…

Schenectady built passenger duty six axle streamliner. Does this count as a surviving PA? Maybe a Shortnose version?

Next summer, consider a trip to Gettysburg. youtu.be/lmWjAxH-rCg
Ok, this is clever. To avoid 'polluting' the scenic streets, their streetcars (at least downtown) run on battery, and they do a quick battery boost by raising the pantograph to a hard bar at stops.

The main drag in Seville is Kansas City Avenue. I was not expecting that.

Also comes with a Steve Zaloga if you're there early enough in the morning. I almost missed him.
The "Wheels of Liberation" collection is holding their annual open-house today and tomorrow (28-29 June 2025 just south of Gettysburg, PA. It emphasizes Polish WWII vehicles, but plenty of other stuff including US Army. A wonderful opportunity for anyone in range of Gettysburg .
I told you guys I was going to do more Booker stuff...

Well, that's disappointing. The "traditional" Michigan state trooper gumballs don't actually rotate. They're just a cylinder of LEDs.
I just saw a Tim Horton's. I am not in Canada. I don't think.
