Overly opinionated. Politically homeless given that they're all as useless as each other. Partial to a wee libation or two. #SaintsFC
Not usually a 14% white drinker at all. But this Chenin is big, fruity and hides the alcohol very well.... Very nice drop

Save for the 2 obvious, a truly pathetic score card. 6 ducks - 2 golden & 2 second ball.

Meant to have posted this on the 21st but forgot. Might interest some..... As an aside, I bought quite a lot of the Riedel glasses that were used for dinner & still got them all.

Quite a drinkable Saumur ... But looking forward to this tip top Malbec made by a great old friend.

On my own tonight, so will knock up some student food before the footie. Grabbed some odds and sods from one of the racks of wines that prob should have been had by now.....but which one? Erring towards Burg but Gassies has to be opened at some point!! Wasn't great 15 years ago!

I'm not the biggest rosé drinker & don't buy into the over hyped Provencal ones, but have to say rather like this one. Think a year's ageing does it good too, though I know many seem to think they have to have the latest vintage & nothing else!

Last night...strange (and generally overpriced) wine list. Hambledon not badly priced & have to say that I always rather like it. The 2019 Cinsault piqued my interest, but TBH it could have done without being piqued.

Delicious.... though somewhat lost on family. Hey ho...guess I'll have to drink it all by myself!!

The fake Durand works quite well. Of course a total false economy given the price of some older bottles (not this one).

Superb grower's Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru...with last bottle of 2000 to follow (and still showing well).

Going through the rack .... should have had a while ago but still showing nicely...just. Though maybe trying to convince myself about it...

Holding up relatively well. Never been rated well - RVF gave it 10/20! - but far better than that. Still got a wee bit of life in it....
