Observations from the first travel lax weekend of the season: 1/4 -Coaches & parents need to chill. A coach went after an opposing parent postgame. Almost every game had parents chirping. Be cool. Kids are watching.

4/4 - Enjoy it. These weekends are numbered. Laugh, listen, hang with your kids and their teammates and their families. Summer ball is lacrosse vacation. Soak it up.
3/4 - The left lane on the highway is FOR PASSING. I lost 40 minutes of my life behind left-lane loafers. This is not a suggestion. It’s rule No. 1 of road life.
2/4 - Refs will miss big calls. They're reffing with college rules (more contact), not your local HS rules. Life throws bad calls. Teach your kid to shake it off and work harder.
