Solo Ozzy was only hit and miss after Bark at the Moon. But those first three solo albums were his finest works.
Ozzy-era Black Sabbath invented heavy metal and has stood the test of time much better than acts of the time. Ozzy's solo career was hit or miss, even if it produced more popular hits. His legacy is built on the first six Sabbath albums. RIP to the Madman
