I really want to see more mid-career transitions into effective altruism. I think experienced professionals bring needed skills & perspective to the space. But, changing careers is hard. I really enjoyed chatting with four people who have made this transition! 🧵

At last year’s EAG London, I talked about EA needing to tell our own stories. Since then we've seen great progress — @TIME + @nytimes coverage, even @TheDailyShow ft. shrimp welfare. But one line from that segment (which I overall love) stuck with me: "Fuck your feelings." 🧵
