I would like to congratulate H.E. President Mustafa Mohumed Omar and H.E. Vice President Ibrahim Osman for decentralizing and establishing new regions in the Somali Region of Ethiopia.

I would like to commend the visit conducted by the Deputy Mayor of Lughaya, Mr. Maxamed Ibraahim; Councillor Sahal Bayle; and Commissioner Abdirashid Warsame to the areas affected by drought. We thank the president and the government and encourage them to provide further support.

On behalf of myself and my constituency, Selel and Awdal, Zaylac & Lughaya, I express my full support for the peace initiative extended by the President of Somaliland to the people of Sanaag in the eastern region of the country. My community fully supports all peace initiatives.

Today, we were invited by the DG of Djibouti Electricity, Mr. Jama Ali Guelleh, to honour the new Ambassador of Somaliland to Djibouti, Mr Cukuse. Also present were the Speaker of the Djibouti Parliament, the Chief of the Republican Guard, and other dignitaries from Somaliland.

President H.E. Abdirahman Ciro's visit to Qatar marks a positive step for Somaliland. The nation is committed to attracting investment and expanding global partnerships.

Today, I was honoured to attend Djibouti’s National Day parade, a powerful display of national pride, cultural richness, and unity. Happy National Day to the people of Djibouti

Today, I had a lunch meeting with Ambassador Abdifatah, the Somaliland Ambassador to Djibouti. He is a senior diplomat who has brought the two countries closer through his strong interpersonal skills.

We condemn the meeting organized by the Somaliland Road Authority, which included only one community, despite the discussion concerning the environmental impact of the Loyado to Borama road. The section from Loyado to Fadhi-Xun, including Zeila, lies within Issa territory.

These are the six areas where the election commission has stopped voting from taking place: Damasha, Ceel-la Helay, Bildhaaley, Hulka, Ceel-Sheekh, and Cabdi Geedi. The people in these areas should be allowed to vote.

On the occasion of Xeer Issa, the local football teams Gerisa and Xarriirad played in commemoration. As a community, we have funded schools and healthcare services for many years, and we now call on the Somaliland government to take over this responsibility.

The Essa tribe inhabits Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Somaliland. In Djibouti and Ethiopia, we are well represented in government. However, in Somaliland, our representation remains limited, despite the fact that our traditional lands stretch from Zeila, Awdal to the Sahel region.
