I came across an old article. A relative of a Welsh woman who died in 1966 was launching a campaign, ultimately hoping more people in Wales would know her name. Don't think I've many Welsh followers but I would like people in Ireland to know her name. /1

Nasim "Simmi" Akhtar (23) born December 10th, 1969 and died on January 29th, 1993. Simmi supported her best friend, Nasreem, to leave an abusive husband. When he found out Nasreem had left, he murdered Simmi in revenge. They should build a statue of her in Huddersfield. ❤️

Irritating that some police forces in England can't be bothered to use good photos in appeals for information on cold case murders. Hardly likely to jog memories using garbage photos. Using the grainy photo (1st) of Amala is inexcusable, given they possess the original (2nd).
