“My soul yearns and pines for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God” (Ps 84). Our hearts are restless until they rest in you O God.

Comfort us, Blessed Mother, when we are frightened or confused. Share with us your unwavering confidence in the healing power of your Son.

“The Lord said to Mary Magdalene: Go to my brothers and tell them: I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God” (Jn 20:17). Mary was privileged to see the resurrected Lord beside the empty tomb. She then announced the good news to the disciples.
Mary our Mother, you rejoiced in the news proclaimed by Mary Magdalen to your Son’s disciples: Our Redeemer lives! He is risen from the dead.

“Blessed is the servant whom the Lord finds watching when he comes. Amen I say to you: He will put that servant in charge of all his property” (Mt 24:46–47). We are His witnesses, missionary disciples called to be faithful stewards of all God’s gifts.

Mother of Mercy, help us to forgive our enemies and pray for those who sin against us. Teach us to let go of resentments and self-pity, and to find consolation and hope in Jesus your Son.

“In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your justice rescue me, and deliver me; incline your ear to me, and save me” (Ps 71). Our Redeemer rescues us from every evil.
Holy Mary, our Mother, teach us to be sisters and brothers of Jesus who care for one another and faithfully do our Father’s will.

“He who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name” (Lk 1:49). The Church gives us Mary’s song of praise to help us raise our minds and hearts to God.

Mary, Health of the Sick, intercede for all who are suffering from diseases of mind, body and spirit. Inspire all caregivers with confidence and hope in the healing power of your Son.

“Come, you blessed of my Father, says the Lord: I was sick, and you visited me. Amen, I say to you: Whatever you did for one of the least of my brethren you did it for me” (Mt 25: 34,36,40). St. Camillus de Lellis, patron of nurses, pray for us. — @CardinalJWTobin
“Come, you blessed of my Father, says the Lord: I was sick, and you visited me. Amen, I say to you: Whatever you did for one of the least of my brethren you did it for me” (Mt 25: 34,36,40). St. Camillus de Lellis, patron of nurses, pray for us.
Immaculate Mary, we rejoice in your motherly care for all your children. Intercede for all who are sick or suffering from any physical, mental or emotional disability.

“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light” (Mt 11:28–30). We are His witnesses.

Pray for us Holy Mother of God. May we be women and men of peace who seek justice for all God’s people.

“Blessed is the womb of the Virgin Mary, which bore the Son of the eternal Father” (Lk 11:17). Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, pray for us. Help us to be faithful witnesses to your Son, our Redeemer.

Holy Mary, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, teach us to know, love and serve God through all our sisters and brothers, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Today our Church honors St. Bonaventure whose humility and fidelity to the Franciscan way of life gave praise to God. May his teaching and example be an inspiration to all who seek to be Christ’s witnesses.

Gentle Mary, you humbly accepted the will of God and joyfully proclaimed God’s greatness in the simplest daily tasks. Help us to imitate you in serving others with kindness and compassion.

“O God, who desired St. Kateri Tekakwitha to flower among Native Americans in a life of innocence, grant, through her intercession, that when all are gathered into your Church from every nation, tribe and tongue, they may magnify you in a single canticle of praise” (Collect).
