“I want to thank everyone for being here today and our panelists with their thoughtful conversations. It’s all about partnerships and community,” Abby Lindenberg, CEO @CapitalAnalytic in her closing remarks.
“I’m a strong proponent of both in-person and remote work. A lot of empty office space is going to be transitioned or moved to residential space. Contrary to popular belief, people actually want to live downtown because it’s a great place to live,” said Mayor Frey.
“As a city, we have the recipe for success right here in Minneapolis. Not only because we have an abundance of Fortune 500 companies, but because these businesses are committed to the community,” said Mayor Jacob Frey @CityMinneapolis in his closing remarks.
“Safety is fundamental to ensuring that businesses want to operate here. Crime is down virtually on every neighborhood in the city. Tackling crime requires a comprehensive approach. Our police department is more diverse now than it has ever been,” said Mayor Frey @CityMinneapolis
Please welcome our keynote speaker: Mayor Jacob Frey @CityMinneapolis!
And that concludes our final panel, “Beyond the Clinic: Examining Minnesota's healthcare performance and leading the charge in reimagining the future of the industry.” A big thank you to @SanfordHealth, @AllinaHealth, @EssentiaHealth!

“It’s an absolute necessity to focus on upstream factors that affect access to healthcare. The healthcare industry will not suffice in this aspect, we need strong cooperation with all of our community partners,” said Krista Skorupa @EssentiaHealth.
“This is a transformational time in health care. We are focused on bringing new technologies, suing AI to detect and treat multiple forms of cancer. Early detection of Alzheimer’s also comes to mind,” said Dominica Tallarico @AllinaHealth.
“We are committed to delivering behavioral and mental care attention in a virtual manner. Saving people time to avoid missing work or other responsibilities is key,” said Cauwels @SanfordHealth
“From behavioral health to preventive care and telemedicine, what areas outside the traditional clinic setting are seeing the most momentum, and what’s holding them back from wider integration?,” asked Abby Lindenberg @CapitalAnalytic.
“I think there are two factors in Minnesota, one structural and one cultural. We are both competitors and collaborators, ultimately we all try to bring better healthcare to this comunity,” said Krista Skorupa, East Market President @EssentiaHealth.
“Technology has exploded and we use this to deliver better local access to healthcare. We try to provide patients and individuals with access to care that is close to their homes,” said Dominica Tallarico, Chief Operating Officer @AllinaHealth.
“Our goal is to deliver health care access both digitally and in person, making sure that our patients are connected digitally and in brick-and-mortar locations,” said Jeremy Cauwels @SanfordHealth
“When it comes to healthcare, Minnesota identified that you get results on what you measure. How do you use data to compare how you are performing?” said Jeremy Cauwels, Chief Medical Officer @SanfordHealth.
“Minnesota consistently ranks as one of the top states for healthcare outcomes. What structural or cultural factors have enabled this high performance, and what is your organization doing specifically to help scale these efforts nationally?” asked Abby Lindenberg @CapitalAnalytic
