Wow. I am updating my profile to 18 year survivor instead of 17 years. I am here to show that early age onset of colorectal cancer can be a long and incredible life. I stand proud as a research advocate to show that the patient voice is important and not to be disregarded.

Exercise as part of a treatment plan is a very different approach than just as a measure for improved QoL. While important, nothing will happen without patients getting the support needed for such a regimen.
Just brand it “Exercizumab!” 😃 In all seriousness, I have been recommending exercise during & after treatment to all my patients who are able to. Great to have Level 1 evidence supporting this strategy. Now need systematic change to upscale & implement. #ASCO25
