🚧👷🏼‍♀️7/24/2025 TRAFFIC ALERT: Caltrans alerts motorists of nighttime closures this weekend at the EB U.S. 50 to SB SR 99 connector for polyester concrete overlay application. Schedule: July 25 - 10 pm to 8 am, July 26 - 10 pm to 9 am, July 27 - 9 pm to 5 am. #KnowBeforeYouGo

📷Construction Update: Work at the American River Bridge rehabilitation project continues. Crews currently replacing west side of the SB SR 51/Capital City Freeway/Business 80 bridge deck. Crews also began adding barrier conduits and junction boxes to the bike trail wall.

11:04 a.m. Road is clear. All lanes are now open.

A Caltrans sign truck is now at the scene. Still no ETO. The #1 lane remains open.

9:30 a.m. Motorists can use Elverta Road or Elkhorn Boulevard as alternate routes.

Crash on SB Highway 99 at Elkhorn, big rig and a sedan, blocking #1 lane. #2 lane is open. Expect delays. No ETO.
